Not Telling the Whole Story - Contribution Made at the May 2007 Montalvo Art Center

I work for a state agency that registers sex offenders, hoping this will protect the public from sexual assault. Many of my government co-workers think this work is unimportant and I sometimes water-down, minimize, the stories of rape, molest, & violence. Our government needs to wake up & not just hear what is socially acceptable, but help its citizens live safe & productive lives. J. CA state worker.
